The Oklahoma Public Safety Conference is asking for submissions for “Heroes.”

We present these awards to showcase the vital importance of 911 and to highlight agencies and individuals who have performed extraordinary in emergency situations. If you know an agency or individual that meets the criteria listed and you believe is deserving of this honor for their performance during the time period of:

7/01/2024 – 6/30/2025

• Child Hero (Child under the age of 18 that made an Emergency 911 Call)
• Telecommunicator Of The Year (A 911 Call handled exceptionally by a 911 Telecommunicator)
• Everyday Hero (Someone that goes above & beyond everyday)
• Technology Person Of The Year (Behind the scenes keeping the technology, equipment, mapping, etc. running efficiently and up to date)
• 911 PSAP/Center (Any agency receiving or processing 911 calls is eligible, this can be a certain event or anything that makes the agency deserving of the award)
